Thank you to all our volunteers, sponsors, donors and guests who made the 2010 Gala of Hope another success! The Gala of Hope was held on Saturday April 10th, 2010 at the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort. This event promotes cancer awareness and helps to raise funds to support the Canadian Cancer Society’s mission of eradicating cancer and improving the quality of life for those living with cancer.

Special Guest:
Jon Montgomery

Olympic Gold medalist Jon Montgomery did an outstanding job conducting the auction portions of the evening.  Jon recently won the Men's Skelton Olympic Gold Medal at the 2010 Vancouver winter games.

Entertainment:
Shawn Hlookoff

Guests were treated to an outstanding performance by up and coming EMI recording artist, Shawn Hlookoff.  This young singer has opened for artists such as Sarah McLachlan, Feist, Heart, REO Speedwagon, and Wide Mouth Mason and currently has hit songs on the TV shows The Hills and Eli Stone.  (http://www.myspace.com/hlookoff)
