About the 2005 Gala

At the 1st inaugural Gala of Hope guests enjoyed an elegant evening filled with laughter, superb dining, and kicking up their heels to the sounds of HB Concept. The first annual Gala of Hope raised $95,000 in support of the Canadian Cancer Society’s programs and services including the Southern Interior Rotary Lodge, Camp Goodtimes for children and teens with a history of cancer, and the CancerConnection peer support program. Honourary Chair MLA Sindi Hawkins and emcee Terry David Mulligan kicked off the 1st Gala of Hope.
