About the 2009 Gala

The Canadian Cancer Society Interior Region hosted the 5th annual Gala of Hope on Saturday April 11th, 2009. Guests enjoyed an elegant evening filled with laughter, superb dinging, dancing, and entertainment. Actor James Morrison,from the hit TV series 24, emceed the evening, bringing a bit of Hollywood fame to the Delta Grand. Entertainment was provided by the Mocking Shadows band out of Calgary. The Gala committee was honoured to have Senator Ross Fitzpatrick & Linda Fitzpatrick as Honourary Chairs for the 2009 event. The Gala of Hope again proved to be a tremendous success reaching over $201,000 in gross revenue.
