We are inviting corporate sponsors and individuals to help support the Canadian Cancer Society Interior Region by participating in the 2011 Gala of Hope. With your generous contribution, you will become a partner in the Canadian Cancer Society’s mission of eradicating cancer and enhancing the quality of life for people living with cancer.
2010 Gala of Hope sponsorship levels
Each category offers a comprehensive benefits package for those companies or individuals that provide either Cash Sponsorship or ‘Gift-in-Kind’ Sponsorship, which directly offsets budgeted items.

Tax Information from Revenue Canada
When a business gives cash or other property to a charity, it may not necessarily be making a gift to the charity. Sponsorship dollars are amounts paid to a registered charity that are not gifts because the sponsor receives something in exchange. They are usually paid to support a charity event in return for advertising or some other consideration. In this situation, the business has not made a gift to the charity and the charity cannot issue an official tax receipt. The business can usually claim the payment or the value of the merchandise as a business expense.

Cash Sponsorship enables your company or individual name to be recognized at the 2010 Gala of Hope through a variety of signage or print opportunities.
Different options are available at each level as illustrated in the following chart.
